Yesterday, I joined my fellow candidates to talk about important issues to Fredericton—Oromocto on CBC Radio. It was a great opportunity to share my perspective on affordability, housing, climate action, economic sovereignty and military support.

I'm honoured to receive the endorsement of veteran CBC journalist and author Jo-Ann Roberts. Jo-Ann has dedicated her life to informing people about the world around them and empowering them to do something about it.

While the US tariffs have put many of our industries in a precarious situation, particularly our steel and aluminum industries, we can turn this situation into an advantage for Canada.

Our vision for Canada starts and ends with what is best for the average Canadian, not billionaires and multinational corporations. That means an affordable home for everyone and an economy that benefits each and every Canadian.

We need people in parliament who are looking out for our future and solving problems before they become crises. Only the Greens have this long-term perspective.
