This Earth Day, I've been taking time to reflect on how important the environment is to each of us as Canadians. We are so lucky to live in a country with such stunning landscapes, habitats, and wildlife. But we have seen how little previous governments have done to protect and conserve nature.

While the US tariffs have put many of our industries in a precarious situation, particularly our steel and aluminum industries, we can turn this situation into an advantage for Canada.

I'm so grateful for David Coon's endorsement. As the leader of the Green Party of New Brunswick, he's shown how a thoughtful MLA can truly represent a community and make a difference in the Legislature. I'm ready to get to work, just like David, for Fredericton—Oromocto.

I've taken the Rainbow Equality pledge to uphold freedom, equality, and human rights for 2SLGBTQIA+ people. This is deeply important to me. Queer rights have been hard-won and are under constant threat.
