There's really no excuse for this. I mean, if you're a politician who's the very caricature of the evil and corrupt a$#---s in Washington, then I guess you really don't care about excuses, though, do you?

Meta's position here is purely antithetical to any form of progress. The only way we grow as a society is to talk about these issues; putting a damper on political discussion is how the elite maintain status quo. THEY DON'T WANT US TO IDENTIFY THE FLAWS IN THEIR SYSTEMS.

As a direct consequence, the Republicans are the ones driving any discussion on policy. Nikki Haley and Ron Desantis have gotten way more attention than any Democratic challenger, and as a result the only discussion being had on the left is how to convince moderates that Biden is better than Trump.
