I think we often get lost in labels, esp Big D and the Big R label. It prevents us from looking at what does and doesn't work. Why can't we just be pro-people, pro-healthcare, pro-business, pro-military, pro-immigration, pro-edu and defend the Constitution's principles anywhere they're threatened.

Salinas, CA, 1965-1970 my mom joined us with the boycott of California Grapes. I was 13 and Cesar Chaves became a Hero of mine. Delores Huerta also, and at 95😉 she was in Watsonville speaking at No Kings a week ago! 🥰
Today is Larry Itliong Day in CA, honoring the Filipino American labor leader whose union members began the Delano Grape Strike on 9/8/65. They asked Cesar Chavez’s National Farm Workers Association to join their picket lines. The rest is history.

There is almost no way the East Wing wasn’t riddled with asbestos. And seemingly no attempt at mitigating the peril of its demolition. Which puts workers at risk but also…people living and working in White House? And who go to the golf course where the rubble is being “repurposed”

Private prison executives casually discussed the "3,000 arrests per day" quota in earnings calls—despite the Department of Justice previously denying any quota exists. This is fueling immigration raids nationwide while companies rake in record profits.

In 1987, I almost got arrested - for taking a picture. Look in the middle of this group of officers and you'll see a general pointing at me. "Stop that guy."
I pulled the film from my cam, told my Mom to put it in her bra, and to keep walking, and if I didn't catch up, to call the consulate.

Actually, Texas cattle ranchers have been prospering because of their own hard work, not because of misguided tariffs and chaotic economic policies. Those are actually what are causing serious pain for farmers and ranchers today.

This is their "deplorables" moment.
