It’s a perfectly reasonable thing for a *criminal* AG who works for a *criminal* administration to say.
This is an absolutely insane thing for an attorney general to say.
Bondi on Judge Hannah Dugan: "This is a criminal judge sitting on a criminal bench."

A trump Cabinet Secretary encouraging others to reflect on Jesus just broke the irony meter.
NEW: HUD Secretary Scott Turner is letting his thousands of government employees leave work early today for Easter and Passover, so they can reflect on how Jesus "broke bread and drank wine with his disciples showing that sacrifice can truly change the world.” www.huffpost.com/entry/hud-sc...
Housing Secretary Lets Staff Go Home Early For Easter To Reflect On Jesus
“We go into this holy weekend with freedoms that the world has never known,” reads a department-wide email from Scott Turner’s chief of staff.

Better late than never. It would have been better had he been as vociferous before trump was re-elected, though. As a political commentator, he had one job. Thanks to those like him who minimized the threat trump posed to democracy, we’ve got an existential crisis on our hands.
David Brooks, calling for an uprising. Huh.

When is someone going to point out that trump has committed many more felonies than Garcia has been charged with?
Karoline Leavitt is a liar, propagandist & accomplice to a criminal regime. “There is never going to be a world in which [Kilmar Abrego Garcia] is going to live a peaceful life in MD because he is a foreign terrorist & MS-13 gang member,” she said w/o evidence about a man who's committed no crime.

Let’s test his conviction by injecting him with smallpox virus, placing him in quarantine and see if he survives.
RFK believes that he is one of the genetic elect and that it is a violation of the natural order to either impose on the genetic elect with public health OR prevent nature from taking its course with those who are predestined to biological damnation.
The U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services has repeatedly claimed: “If you’re healthy, it’s almost impossible to die from an infectious disease in modern times.”

That is dangerously false.

I dunno. Maybe start by making it less likely to catch potentially deadly Infectious Diseases?
We are doomed.

Watch this propaganda…

Funny how "erasing history" only applies to tearing down Confederate monuments, emphasizing the role of enslavement in the development of the U.S., & renaming military bases named after Confederates, but not to acknowledging historical Black, Brown, queer, and trans folks

We are, unequivocally, the Bad Guys.

We have been before, and we will be again, no doubt, but this one is particularly repellent.

Every Republican should be asked the same question again and again. Make them own it.
someone needs to ask Cotton, Cruz, Graham about siding with Russia at the UN. Their guy is on Putin's side. Where are THEY?

War crimes aren’t a deal-breaker for trump. They’re probably why he admires Putin’s “strength“.

Human nature is pretty much the same as it has always been. But the culture in which we currently live rewards vice & penalizes virtue. It cannot be sustained, but it can do a great deal of damage until it collapses.
I entered political writing during the Obama era with a very pessimistic view of human nature. Over time, I grew more optimistic. Even 2016 didn’t dampen that. But every day since the last election has proved that my original view was the right one.

Diplomacy & development keep us safe, grow our economy, and prevent conflict. Gut them, and we hand power to adversaries while putting Troops at risk.
