This is the dumbest idea and displays an amazing ignorance of the process and the players necessary to make it happen.

Ok, here's the deal. Democrats have been absolutely horrible at messaging for years, failing to recognize that Republicans (and now MAGA) have been defining terms which the media adopt without question thus allowing MAGA definitions to be the ones which define what is happening.

Please, by all that is holy, stop referring to them as tariffs. Yes, that is one term, but the politically accurate one as it relates on the real impact on voters is to call them "import taxes".

So I'm guessing that after enduring trump's word vomit, this year's West Point graduating class is now well conditioned to resist torture should they ever be captured on a future battlefield.
