I’m so sorry. The loss of a parent is indescribable. It doesn’t matter how much time has passed, anniversaries and random things still have the power to take our breath away, stop us in our tracks and take us right back to the worst day ever.

I am so sorry that happened to you. It’s absolutely insane. The hiring process takes months as is, so if they do decide to rescind the offer I believe they will have to re-advertise and start from scratch with the whole process.
Again I’m so sorry this is happening and you’re feeling it first hand.

My heart hurts even more for my friends in the NPS world that will be completely looked over because DEIA is “nonsense”. For my friends in the LGBTQ community who are constantly defending themselves but now having their existence questioned.
I am terrified for my daughter’s future.
