In 2013 there was a panel at SXSW with a bunch of new media/web academics that effectively proved it’s impossible to manufacture virality in social media. Nice to see it hasn’t taken hold with Democrats. Looking forward to Chuck Schumer’s “you’re telling me a shrimp fried this rice” midterm post
