Okay, so this exists now! 😬

Inside, you'll find: the IWW, Tom Mooney, the First Red Scare, labor juries, the ILD, the Gastonia Strike, Angelo Herndon, Euel Lee, Scottsboro, riots at the Supreme Court, Charles Hamilton Houston, Pauli Murray, the Worker's Defense League, FDR using a racial slur . . .
In his Article, @tframpton.bsky.social explores the history of advocacy for juries that represent a fair cross-section of the community. He recovers the forgotten stories of the radical litigants, criminal defendants, and social movements whose decades-long work reshaped the jury.

“In short, if the Post’s facts are correct, it appears that Special Operations Forces committed murder when the ‘two men were blown apart in the water, as the Post put it.’”

In LA, DC, and elsewhere, DHS officers are reportedly pulling over work vans without warning and detaining everyone inside.
ICE is all over the city and burbs today, including Waukegan. Multiple reports on social media from people who have found empty work vans and are trying to locate family of their owners. This is a near daily occurrence now.

The deportation order is based on Vedam’s conviction for murder—a crime he did not actually commit and for which he’s now been wholly exonerated. He entered the US at 9 months old and was a legal permanent resident before his conviction. We are so, so, so far from the light of justice.
After spending 43 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, evidence hidden by the prosecution reversed his conviction. Rather than finally enjoying freedom, ICE abducted him for deportation

Depraved.

I've been following the Lattarulo case involving the seizure of an immigration attorney's cell phone at Logan Airport (complaint: storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...) pretty closely and I'm left with a big question that none of the coverage has answered.

That would be considered treason in any country.

Here’s one of my articles covering Venezuela’s last election, with links to several more articles at the end. No legacy media outlet covers Venezuela like I do.

There’s a reason for that.

Venezuela Is About To Be Back In U.S. News In a Big Way
It should serve as a reminder that the Venezuelan opposition led by María Corina Machado failed to prove Edmundo González won the election

This is why I don't trust heavily funded protest groups. If a group comes out of nowhere with tons of funding, that should be the first red flag, because it's a HUGE one.

The critics of the vaccine were badly censored at government insistence, as a reading of Scalia’s scathing dissent would show. But this platform is an ideological monoculture where scathing dissents are noted only when they confirm the Democrat party line.

It sounds like an government -sponsored way to crush unions: “It would sure be a shame if your (slave)owner got upset and stopped ‘taking responsibility’.”
Trump: "We have a lot of cases where ICE will go into a farm. These are guys working there for 10-15 years, no problem. The farmers know them. It's called farmer responsibility, or owner responsibility, They will be responsible for these people. They know these people."
