Apparently you can't get anything from the bonus shop on Metroid Prime Trilogy because they arbitrarily require tokens that you can only get by interacting with friends online, a feature that no longer works on a Wii.

God I wish I was recording it, but I just won the final ante on a Balatro run with a high card 4. I got hologram and DNA jokers almost immediately in the run so by the end I was getting x8 modifiers on everything. I also got ritual sacrifice really early and fed it all game, and smeared+lv 10 flush

My favorite Sonic character is Knuckles and my favorite Dragon Ball character is Piccolo but when you get right down to it they're functionally the same character

I'm at the point where I probably use bluesky more than any other social media, but I do avoid the discover tab like the plague because it's nothing but either furry porn or AI slop of Trump getting dunked on. I love bad things happening to Trump, but it's not all I care about.

A fun thing about Metroid Prime 3 is it establishes that Samus isn't the best bounty hunter just because she's the strongest, or has the best weapons, or is the best at infiltration. It's because she's good at everything, but also because you just can't fucking kill her.

Fun fact: In the Metroid titles where it's not explicitly spelled out why Samus lost her upgrades, it's because she sold them all for drinking money between games.
