One thing 2025 made clear: Durable progress on climate in the US will require structural reform to our corrupted political systems. Otherwise, steps forward will always be vulnerable to the bloody clawbacks we saw this year. A political strategy that doesn't center system reform is not "pragmatic."

The fact that SteamOS lets you play games from GOG and itch.io is either an admission of guilt from Gabe or the mother of all subtweets from Valve's engineers.
Valve's contributions to open source, and all the work they've done normalising Linux for the masses, actually make it WORSE in my eyes that their CEO is spending so much on fucking yachts.
That money could've gone to Godot, or Blender, or any part of KDE that isn't just the parts SteamOS needs
