To wit: 4Kids dubs are literally what helped bring the medium to a broader American market, when the mainstream adult world wasn’t (and STILL ISN’T) willing to treat anime as anything other than toddler fodder.
It’s easy to poke fun now, but the industry blossomed in part BECAUSE of their ambition.

A trillion-dollar company going super-cheap on producing a mechanical-sounding dub with no human touch, aura, or spark involved.

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.
