Silent march in Prague for the murdered children of Gaza/Tichý pochod.
Grateful for the words, and the presence, of Tomáš Halík (who spoke before and after the march).
For the prayers in Czech and Arabic.
🙏

I feel proud of all the Hungarians in Transylvania who came out and voted for Dan (see Csikszereda below 😊) but don't vote for Orbán again in 2026 for G-d's sake!!!

Prague urban progressives love to make fun of people who complain about scooters, but this is a serious impediment to anyone in a wheelchair. (If your argument is, the wheelchair has enough room to pass, then you sound just like the people defending cars).

Maybe stop being ableist?

Shout out to Mapy cz as well for including the real toponyms here in map of Tibet (there are issues with the spacing of the stacked letters in Tibetan, eg.Lhasa should be ལྷ་ས, but still).

Reminder that the Czech map app Mapy.cz is a really good map app.Subscription is approx 10€/yr. & you can have unlimited offline maps. Their maps are especially good for hiking.

The Charles University Philoharmonic & Choir, conducted by Haig Utidzian, performed excerpts from Brundibar this part week at Charles University. Brundibar is a children's opera that was composed shortly before WWII & ultimately performed in Terezín. The performance by these 'youngs' was incredible.
