I read the Vulture article about Gaiman this morning. It was brutal to read. I knew the subject matter and felt prepared. I was mistaken. It was worse than I expected. He’s a monster. Truly. Several of his works are among my favorite stories. I am not sure I can ever enjoy them again.

There is a lot of pressure to be jolly during this season. It’s okay if you’re not. It’s okay if you are quiet, introspective, even sad. Take care of yourself, honor your boundaries, focus on small pleasures and supportive rituals. Sending you light in the dark. 🕯️

Helpful information if you have a #healthinsurance claim denied. Also, we had a home #insurance claim after a bad hailstorm in June. Offered us a check for $2500 for all damages. We refused and asked for a third party damage assessment. They eventually had to pay over $100k. Advocate don’t accept.

We shouldn’t accept that a CEO killer must get a national manhunt when cops don’t solve most murders at all. A migrant teenager was just murdered in NYC, cops just killed a guy here — the lives of these other people are worth just as much as that CEO.

2 years ago my side of the family started celebrating “Saturnalia” so we can do stuff with the other side of our families on the holidays. It’s freaking awesome. We do gifts but it’s chill and low stress. We eat delicious food and hang out. Today was the day this year and my heart is happy.
