Since PFR began tracking snap counts in 2012, Stefon Diggs is the only WR to tally 1000+ receiving yards in a season while playing less than 60% of his team's offensive snaps and appearing in every game.

Diggs was on the field for just 54.7% of snaps for NE this season.

Interesting nugget from some research I'm working on.

Based on the 24 tackles that were drafted in the 1st Round from 2012-2021 that started 10+ games in their rookie seasons, there is exactly zero correlation between draft slot (1-32) and future career success.

Nahshon Wright was one of the most unexpected breakout players of the 2025 NFL Season. But what should we make of his his performance this year as he heads into free agency?

I dove into the film to try to figure that out here. Check it out below!

Process was completely fine. Just picked the wrong guy.
The “go all-in while your QB is still on his rookie deal” strategy is a reasonable one, but you have to make sure the young QB has the goods *first*. That was their fatal mistake, they went on faith instead of proven performance.

A lot of folks are going to dunk on Kwesi Adofo-Mensah for the QB "mishap", but Darnold was always signed to be a bridge QB, had his worst two games at the worst possible time in 2024, and was always going to be second choice to the guy they just drafted in the first round.

Joe Brady is a very deserving head coach. Full stop. And this may end up working out very well for them long-term

But to fire McDermott on a whim with no thought put into what comes next, just to end up promoting his OC, is kind of wild.

Yesterday's games couldn't have looked more different on the surface, but I hope the impact of special teams on both outcomes isn't lost on anyone.

For NE, a blocked FG late saved the game.

For LAR, a muffed punt gave SEA a free TD that may have been the difference.

Special teams.

JSN might be the best WR in the league right now.

Running the ball on 3rd and 6 to set up your rookie kicker with a 46-yd snow FG.

What are we doing here?

Thank god the Pats punched that in to erase that inadvertent whistle taking points off the board.

Still a horribly officiated play on that turnover.

I'm not going to pretend to have a crystal ball that can see the eventual outcome of Buffalo's decision to fire McDermott, but given the press conference disaster and how the search for a new coach seems to be going....

Oh my god Becker.

We got a game, folks!

Bills firing McDermott while retaining Beane is...something.

These things typically go much better when they happen in pairs. Hiring a new coach under a job insecure GM is a recipe for disastrous misalignment and dysfunction.

Great throw by Caleb, even better catch by Odunze. Clutch!

That's up there with the most cowardly punts I've ever seen.

Really can't comprehend why Campbell is being left 1 on 1 on a third down.

Talk about not setting your guys up for success.

So excited for some proper January football today in Foxboro and Chicago.

Nothing better in all of sports than playoff football in the cold and snow.
