A real Congress would impeach.
Stunning development: Senators now confirm the Trump admin’s 28-point “peace plan” for Ukraine wasn’t a U.S. plan at all. It was a Russian wish list. Follow along. This is crazy. 1/

Too late. Marco Rubio already spilled the truth. The so called peace plan was Russia’s wish list, not something the US drafted. He’s trying to walk it back but the damage is done.

He’s scrambling.

It's a shame we don't have a Justice system for the wealthy to be prosecuted under.

Bernie Madoff being an exception but he ripped off fellow wealthy people. If it were taxpayers he'd be promoted.

Elon Musk doesn't consider himself an immigrant because as the first trillionaire, he believes he owns the entire world.

His obsession with colonizing Mars is just so he can add another planet to his collection.

Just flat out knowingly lying would be neither, I suppose.

My guess, he starts with the lie but then internalizes it as a believed delusion & later creates false, vivid hallucinatory memories of imagined people saying what he wants to hear. I'm not a brainologist or idiot whisperer, though, so...

In short: Even though the court ordered discovery based on the likelihood of vindictive and selective prosecution, we don't even need to get into it and you should dismiss the charges now given we just learned the DOJ lied to a judge about Costa Rica not accepting Mr. Abrego.
Kilmar Abrego Garcia's lawyers inform a federal judge about the Washington Post's bombshell: The government's claim that Costa Rica will no longer accept Abrego has been exposed as a lie.

More evidence—"if any were needed"—of vindictive prosecution.

I hope they’re enjoying their vote.

Side note: It's hard to express how big a deal this is, especially for me personally. I hope this is the first of many dominoes.

One of the reasons we need universal basic income plus higher taxes on the rich is to boost the spending power of the bottom 60% and in doing so, reorient our economy around the needs of the majority of people who comprise it. As inequality has increased, our economy has adjusted to meet rich wants.

It is, once again, a question of whether interviewers have the temerity to shut down his whining obfuscations.
