Two months ago, Pete Ricketts voted AGAINST releasing the Epstein files.

When a Nebraska news station asked Ricketts about the Epstein situation, he said it was a low priority. 👇

Pete Ricketts folded under pressure.

Only 2 months ago, he voted AGAINST releasing the Epstein files.

Tonight he said he would support their release.

What changed? Public pressure.

President Trump said we should release the Epstein files. I agree!

Only two months ago, Pete Ricketts voted AGAINST releasing the Epstein files. How does he justify this?

“The move from Congress, he said, will just make life harder for Nebraskans seeking relief while hurting farmers and small businesses.

‘It’s gonna kill almost all hemp around the country,’ Mayo said. Referring to Sweetwater, he said, ‘It will hit us very hard, if not shut us down.’”
Nebraska hemp farmers worry for future with upcoming federal ban on THC products
An Omaha lawmaker who attempted to ban many hemp-derived products in Nebraska said a new federal ban may achieve what she wanted.

Over the last few weeks, the public has learned that JUST 4 companies control 85% of beef in the U.S.🤯

But non-ranchers may not FULLY understand what this means and why it’s so bad.

To help, here are the Top 10 reasons why meatpacking consolidation is bad for ALL Americans.🧵

Nebraska THC retailers contribute $139 million a year to Nebraska's economy. They provide 1,600 jobs and annually generate $7.7 million in sales tax revenue.

Nebraska also has a projected budget deficit that has grown to $451 million.

Is this what “fiscal responsibility” looks like 🥴

"The looming ban would shutter 95% of Nebraska’s THC shops in the coming years, costing hundreds of jobs and effectively wiping out an industry that, advocates have said, contributes $139 million a year to Nebraska’s economy."

Pete Ricketts voted for this.
'Devastating' — Federal spending bill includes ban that will shutter Nebraska THC shops
The House gave final approval to a bill that will end the record-long government shutdown — and eventually shutter most of the 300 shops that sell THC products in Nebraska.

"In a downtown bar on O Street in the capital city, Dan Osborn drank a 16-ounce draft Coors Banquet Beer.

During a sit-down interview with the Nebraska Examiner at O’Rourke’s Tavern, the occasional patron walked up to Osborn to tell him they support his bid against U.S. Sen. Pete Ricketts, R-Neb..

My opponent @PeteRicketts voted to BAN hemp products in the Senate funding bill.

My opponent Pete Ricketts has also taken more than $48,000 from the alcohol industry and more than $28,000 from Big Pharma between 2023-2024.

Coincidence?

Since 1982, America has lost 80% of its dairies and 90% of its hog farms, mostly small, independent family operations.

When I enlisted in the Navy, I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution.

That oath doesn't expire. Every generation of veterans has endured to uphold that promise, and I'm grateful for their service.

To all who've served: thank you.

Farmers and ranchers are tired of politicians saying they will be friends during election time, then turning around and stabbing them in the back.

With the news that the Supreme Court temporarily blocked full SNAP payments, many of our friends and neighbors are in an even tougher spot

Please, if you are able, consider making a monetary contribution to a Nebraska Food Bank. They do great work & your money goes a long way 🙏

With Trump’s (great) statement about the Big 4 Meatpackers, do you think Pete Ricketts will actually (finally) be able to say something critical about the Big 4?
November 8, 2025 at 1:59 AM
Mr. President.

This is a fantastic statement. As you note, The Big Four packers—JBS, Tyson, Cargill, and National Beef-are indeed “driving up the price of beef through illicit collusion, price fixing, and price manipulation.”

Right now, many of our friends and neighbors in Nebraska are having trouble putting food on the table. Especially during the holidays, this is heartbreaking to think about. 🧵

There are young adults in Nebraska with epilepsy waiting for medical marijuana.

There are cancer patients in pain.

There are veterans with PTSD.

All suffering because Pete Ricketts has a vendetta against medicine.

This is not just obstruction, it is cruel.

Missouri made $241 MILLION in marijuana tax revenue last year. Colorado has made over $3 BILLION since legalization.

How much has Nebraska made?

ZERO.

Foreign investors hold over 35 million acres of U.S. farmland. That’s an area LARGER than the state of New York.

In the past 17 years alone, foreign farmland holdings have DOUBLED.

Pete Ricketts' views on marijuana come straight from the 1936 propaganda film "Reefer Madness" that portrayed cannabis users as violent criminals.

It's 2025.

40 states have medical marijuana.

Time to join the 21st century, Pete.
November 6, 2025 at 4:19 PM
I would vote to deschedule cannabis as a Schedule 1 Drug in the U.S. Senate.

Pete Ricketts said, "If you legalize marijuana, you're going to kill your kids."

Any questions?

This is a real quote.

If there is ONE person most to blame for medical marijuana being stalled in our state, it is unquestionably Pete Ricketts.
November 5, 2025 at 8:13 PM
Last year, Nebraska voters OVERWHELMINGLY approved 2 ballot measures to bring medical marijuana to our state.

The first, was a measure to legalize medical cannabis. 71% of Nebraska voters voted to approve this measure!
