No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology
She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

Quite, quite extraordinary that a judge (re the Pretti shooting) needs to make this order

“Judge Eric Tostrud’s order bars the federal government from “destroying or altering evidence related to the fatal shooting involving federal officers…”

A doctor who witnessed the incident says the victim did not wield a weapon of any kind. But he saw at least 4 ICE officers point guns at him. He was shot 6 or 7 times. On rushing out he saw 3 gunshot wounds to his back, & when turned, one to his upper left chest & one poss to his neck

This week, Trump will bomb someone, impose a ridiculous tariff, make some crazy announcements - do anything he can to divert attention away from this outrage. He wants the public to move on and forget this as so many have done with his past crimes and transgressions. Don’t let him.

The madman in the White House, that 77 million 🇺🇸 citizens actually chose TWICE, complains that because he hasn’t been given a Nobel Peace Prize he’s going to go to war….

As if he hasn’t already.

If the US holds Venezuela, we will seize 17% of oil -- yesterday's technology. If China uses this precedent to take Taiwan, it will own 60% of semiconductors -- tomorrow's technology. See what happens when you elect evil & stupid at the same time?

Here he is, not only wearing a mask, but also getting vaccinated…

The boats the regime is claiming are going from Venezuela to the US would need to refuel over 20 times to get to Miami.

They are lying to us.

Adelita Grijalva won her election to Congress nearly a month ago, but Mike Johnson still hasn't sworn her in. Why the delay? Perhaps it's because Grijalva would cast the final vote needed to release the Epstein files.

Time for proud, happy Londoners to stop buying, reading or sharing the #LondonStandard then….
Today’s London Standard has a big report on how the capital “isn’t working”. It blames immigrants, especially Muslims, and the lack of “White British”. It asks “if there’s a minimum number of natives” at which London must give it up its status as the UK capital. www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/lond...
