Awe and wonder. Gratitude. I miss the Age of Enlightenment, aka the Age of Reason. E pluribus unum. Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? Love my kids, cats, country and trees.
"To actually not work and instead spend more time on non-market production, you’d need to accept a lower income.” I’d like to know what “accepting 1960’s living standards” looks like to you. My parents lived on one income, owned their house, owned 2 cars, raised 4 kids. How do you do that on 60K?

Also it would be good to list other fraud. For example, Republican Congresspeople who took PPP loans and didn’t pay them back.

460,000 registered voters in this county. 9% turnout. Approximately 95,000 votes for Republican, and 80,000 votes for the Democratic candidate. Another 15,000 votes from Davidson County would have been a 12% turnout.
I’ve knocked on thousands of doors. I wish I knew how to persuade them to vote.

1) It's a lie that the Nat Guard is here to fight crime
2) It's a lie that DC was hell on earth before their arrival
3) It's a lie that military occupation makes a city safer. It actually just amps up the specter of violence
4) Truth? They want to occupy our cities. That's it. tinyurl.com/2456cc46
After the DC National Guard Shooting Comes the Big Lie
West Virginia’s governor, Patrick Morrisey, is inventing reasons for the National Guard to occupy Washington, DC. We cannot let his outrageous fabrications take hold.

I still remember when the US invaded Iraq for no good reason. The US invaded and captured the leader of Panama, who had been backed by our CIA.

Clinton embraced neoliberalism, calling it “Third Way” moderation. I’d call it turning the Democratic Party into the Republican Party.

can’t help but notice it’s ‘they’ when a single mother might manage to use SNAP benefits for food that actually tastes good but it’s ‘we’ when a handful of ketamine addicts wanna ruin the economy

Chris Murphy should be in Chuck Schumers leadership position. He is one of the few who is fighting back in the Senate.

I disagree with your assumption that making Presidential elections subject to majority of people would necessarily change Presidential powers. What we should do is return to the original model of a powerful Congress, and a reduced Presidency.

This should be used for US Senate districts. That would mostly solve the problem with the Electoral College. State borders would remain as they are; only Senate districts would follow this equal-population scheme.
