yup yup. i do believe in G-d and base my observance around it, and this is certainly one way to do Judaism. but we care far more about what you *do* than what you believe

debate is good, if done in good intention. there is a phrase in Judaism "debates for the sake of heaven", its a crucial practice! but a contrarian is not doing such.

ah but look at what im doing. i was listening to this shiur the other day and the Rabbi was talking about how self-doubt is yetzer hara, or the evil inclination. especially when it comes to pushing yourself to do mitzvot or religious practice or study in general.

but every time i even speak about what i know here, its either ignored or denied. so what hope do i have of this?

and outside of that, how in the world do people monetize themselves? or force themselves into a personality that makes it possible?
