Good morning. Well, morning anyway. Here in the Southern Tier of New York State, we replaced one winter advisory/watch/warning with another. I think this one is in effect until late March or early April.

Yesterday would have been Blue Rodeo and their song "Bad Timing." Today's would be lyrical bastardizations of the 2 to 4 Christmas songs someone in our area has been playing on a 24-7 loop over a PA system since just after Thanksgiving. (Truth be told, I've bastardized the lyrics daily in my head.)

Standing on a railroad crossing, watching a passenger train coming at me. My mom was carrying my sister, my dad had hold of my brother's hand, brother let go of my hand, and I wasn't supposed to cross without holding somebody's hand so I stopped. Stationmaster retrieved me.

I've been selective in my reading there as well. One thing I do enjoy is those who write in depth. So far I've had minimal contact with MAGAs and Nazi types.

😂I'm still blundering around there myself. By my estimate, I should have it pretty well figured out 10 or 12 years after I'm dead.
