Oh goody. Another "you've been doing this, that, and other things wrong your whole life." It's a wonder I'm still here.

Legit question for whomever stuffed Stephen Miller into a locker in middle school: why the fuck did you ever let him out?

The winter weather advisory/watch/warning that was in effect locally expired to make way for a new winter weather advisory/watch/warning. As nearly as I can figure, this new one should expire somewhere around late March.

Look! A rural New York State tumbleweed!
High winds this morning brought this bag of trash to the driveway from somewhere up the street.

Cheng Benhua gave her Life fighting against invading Imperial Japanese Army troops

After being captured & tortured, as a final f#ck you she fearlessly smiled at her executioners before they killed her

Ahem. No doubt the International Skating Union will get right on awarding me a medal because, despite our ice storm, I successfully navigated the 30 feet or so of sidewalk to the garage - and back - to fill cat dishes WITHOUT falling on my ass. Thank you, thank you.

I've just been given some devastating news. I have lost my caregiver Devine. She said she could not live on $300- $350 per wk ($15hr -20hrs +)
Plus, my frail dire condition I need a home health aide more than 20 hours per week
I was just diagnosed with MRSA in my lungs, ⬇️

Bari Weiss following the lead of Pam Bondi when Bondi "released the Epstein files" seems completely on brand. It's the Peter Principle on steroids.

Franklin Graham announced to one and all (who could be bothered to listen) "... but did you know that God also hates?"
Not what the Bible says there, Frankie.
1 John 4:16: "God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them."
So, who lives in Franklin Graham?

I walked outside just now to the sounds of the village coming to life, with one exception. Christmas Carol/PA System Guy who has only recently expanded beyond "Hark the Herald Angels Sing" and "O' Holy Night" - on a 24-7 loop since just after Thanksgiving - has gone nearly mute. Hallelujah!

Why am I continually seeing posts about Paulette Jordan winning the Democrats' nomination for Governor of Idaho as though it is current news? She received the nomination in 2018 and it was indeed historic, but the next primaries and election are in 2026, and her name is not so far on the ballot.

The DOJ has released the Redacted Files, Squeaker of the House, Windsock Johnson, has sent the House of Reprehensibles away without voting to extend health care subsidies, and the Diaper Don assures us we've never had it so good. So winds down another week in the Disjointed States of America.
