I've watched the first episode of #pluribus / #plur1bus. What a jaw-dropping premise! I want to describe as "dark," but I also want to stop using that word to mean something negative--given that it's also used to refer to people quite negatively.

15+ years old, but still VERY relevent — and if we had acted 15 years ago, the “better world” we’d be creating would be a LOT better & easier to reach. There are real consequences we’re just starting to see to not heeding this cartoon a lot sooner.

Finally deleted the reddit app, with regret. It was important to my career, and I like it, but the algorithmizing and infinite scroll turned it from the enjoyable experience of checking in with interesting topics into yet another app generically trying to addict you.

I’m not suggesting that Carney NEEDS the NDP strategically. He doesn’t, as I don’t think for minute that the NDP or any party will trigger an election now. It would be political suicide.

Regarding Prime Minister Carney’s federal budget: I don’t pretend to fully know it, and there are elements that concern me, but if I were the NDP I’d pledge to support it if a significant investment in urban public transit (nation-building, climate etc) was added, and if I were PM Carney I’d agree.

It should be the first question asked of Poilievre by media in every single interview, every time. And his ridiculous, illogical excuses should be challenged vigorously. Unless Poilievre submits to the standard, normal security check, Canadians should assume the worst about why he refuses to.
PM Carney takes a jab at PoiLIEvre: “You know, one of the advantages of having your security clearance is you’re better informed about some of the threats [facing Canada], and I highly recommend that anyone either in a position of responsibility—or seeking it—has their security clearance.”
