Today we saw @harvard.edu do the thing @columbiauniversity.bsky.social could have done: refuse to sell out their students and faculty and this entire nation for grant $$. We see who has courage. And we won't forget who the collaborators are. Their shame will be recorded in the history books.

1/4. On the White House’s theory, if they abduct you, get you on a helicopter, get to international waters, shoot you in the head, and drop your corpse into the ocean, that is legal, because it is the conduct of foreign affairs.

An estimated 5K people showed up in San Rafael. I expected a few hundred. Safest demonstration I've ever been to, hardly any cops.

Nazis/fascists, and the indifferent are not entitled to *our* discomfort. They are, however, entitled to *their* discomfort at the pushback which is a natural consequence of their choices.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

Deleting the "welfare state" might be a strategic mistake if they follow through. They'd be removing a huge scapegoat category. They wouldn't be able to blame their misfortunes on the mythical "welfare queen" anymore.

American citizens used to be taught to resist fascism and punch Nazis in the face. Now we are told to buy their electric cars and let them destroy our government institutions.

The reason AOC and Sanders aren't being protested is because each have a cult following and have never been held to the same standards as other Dems

I've seen many generic protest videos

Three videos of an actual protest of a Republican Rep. This is what I'm talking about

Holy shit! You’ve got to see this town hall. Republicans are starting to get torn apart by their own constituents.

Rep. Rich McCormick: “You don’t think I’m going to stand up for you?”

Woman in the crowd: “You need to stand up.”

Another woman: “Don’t bend over.” 🔥
