I'm not surprised. As a pilot, I can tell you that everyone -- controllers, pilots, ground crew, maintenance, aviation inspectors, etc. -- is rattled.

DOGE is wreaking havoc throughout the system. These DOGE idiots have no experience in aviation and haven't the slightest idea what they're doing.

True story: a few years ago, I was being interviewed by a reporter for the New York Times. I mentioned the history of eviction statutes and how they tied into Jim Crow.

The reporter asked "what's Jim Crow?"

When I explained, the reporter didn't believe me and said the US wouldn't do that.
