August: One medium mocha and a small hot cocoa with extra whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles. Gustopher: WAIT! Panel 2 Gustopher has grown much more mature and sophisticated in this past year. He is becoming a man of fine taste and wishes for only the most sophisticated of drinks to sip on this cold autumn day. Gustopher: My tastes are maturing. I want my drink to reflect that. Panel 3 Gustopher slaps on his most adult and sophisticated looking face. He's prepared for this moment. He's ready. He's going to order his drink. Gustopher: I WANT- Panel 4 Gustopher: A hot cocoa with extra whipped cream and CHOCOLATE sprinkles. The employee has become distracted by their phone. WOW! There's a video of an absolutely very real bird flying off with an absolutely very real baby. This is clearly a video that was recorded by an actual living individual and not made by a computer. Why isn't someone doing something about all these birds flying off with babies? That's like the fiftieth video I've seen on the topic this week.

How to Food - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 August has a variety of ingredients on the kitchen counter. Including "Meaty Sodium Strips", cheese, eggs, an onion, a tomato, and what one might assume is olive oil but the bottle says "All of Oil" so honestly, I don't know what it is. Gustopher is unsure what this is all about. August is wearing his "COOKING PAPA" apron. Gustopher: Are you making omelettes? August: I'm teaching you how to make them. Panel 2 Gustopher is surprised. His Dad has always taken care of the majority of cooking. The Meaty Sodium Strips are just chilling on the counter. Gustopher: Really? You always make breakfast. August: I won't always be around to make it. Panel 3 Suddenly, Gustopher is hit with an overwhelming sense of dread. He's not really registering what his dad is saying. The Meaty Sodium Strips sit menacingly on the counter. August: And learning to cook is important. First we should- Panel 4 Gustopher flings his arms in the air and yells out- Gustopher: I DON'T WANT YOU TO DIE! It occurs to August that he probably could have phrased his comment about not being around to make breakfast a little better. The Meaty Sodium Strips want you to know that one strip contains five hundred times your recommended daily allotment of sodium.

Relax - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Polly is attempting to relax at a coffee shop. Unfortunately, her mom asked her to bring her little sister along. Polly just wants to sit and enjoy her coffee but Olivia will be having none of that. Olivia: Why do you like coffee shops? Polly: The relaxing ambiance. I honestly don't know whether I should spell it ambience or ambiance so I'm spelling it one way in the comic and another way in the transcript. Panel 2 Olivia is not finding this relaxing at all. It's just boring. Olivia: What's relaxing? The bad music? The old people? Polly: It's the vibe. There is an older woman standing nearby and Olivia has said what she said in a loud enough voice to possibly offend. Fortunately for her, this old person has ruined her hearing. Please remember to bring ear protection to loud concerts, places with loud machinery, and coffee shops that play bad music. Panel 3 Suddenly, Olivia starts vibrating. She somehow managed to get the staff to serve her coffee. Olivia: I'm not relaxed! I'm shaking! Polly: I told you to get decaf! Panel 4 Perhaps this isn't as boring as Olivia originally thought. Olivia: And you don't look relaxed. Polly: BECAUSE OF YOU! Olivia is not going to sleep tonight.

Thank You (Part 2/2) - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Gwen is in the kitchen making dinner for her brothers and father. Her mother is probably going to be home late again. She's chopping up something green. Everyone knows that a proper meal has to have something green in it. It's science or something. Gwen's youngest brother comes in to see what she's doing. Tanner: Are you making dinner? Gwen: Yeah. Tanner: You must like to cook. Panel 2 Gwen keeps on chopping but responds honestly to her brother. The microwave in the back says "ERROR". It still works but no one knows how to make it stop saying "ERROR". Gwen: If Mom or Dad won't do it then someone has to. Panel 3 Tanner: Oh... I'm glad you do. Thank you. Gwen stops chopping for a moment. Tanner's words mean a lot to her. Panel 4 Gwen: Thanks, Tanner. Tanner: But I didn't do anything. Gwen: You're kind. That's something. Life is difficult. Life is unfair. But Gwen feels the appreciation from her brother and that makes it a little better.

Thank You (Part 1) - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Gwen has been doing the laundry and is letter her father know that she's finishing it up. He's attention is primarily on his computer. Gwen: Hey Dad, I finished the laundry. I'll start dinner after I put this away. Dad: Hmm... Panel 2 Gwen pauses for a moment and watches her father work. Deep down she's hoping for some further acknowledgement but doesn't want to bring attention to herself. He continues to stay focused on his computer and whatever work that he's doing. Panel 3 Finally, he turns to her and notices she's still standing by the door. Dad: What? You want a medal? Gwen: N-no. Sorry. I'll finish this. Gwen rushes away. Panel 4 Gwen's thoughts turn inward as she walks away. She has several messy thoughts running through her head. Most frustratingly, a feeling of guilt. Gwen (thinking): Is it selfish to wish he'd thank me?

Transcript Panel 1 August has just finished downloading a game that he's been looking forward to playing. Unfortunately, he also has to get to work so he doesn't have time to playing it right now. On his computer screen is the notice that the download is complete and an option to tip "15%", "30%", or "50%". August (thinking): I've been waiting for this game forever. I'll play it after work. Panel 2 It's later in the evening and August is making dinner. He's putting some onions in a pot and thinking about his new game. As much as he'd like to be playing right now, they got to eat and he promised his son one of his favorite dinners. August (thinking): I'll play it after dinner. Gustopher: TACO SOUP! TACO SOUP! Panel 3 Dinner is done but August is exhausted. He goes to bed and his two cats have quickly settled in for sleep. August thinks about his game but he just doesn't have the energy for it. August (thinking): Too tired... I'll play it later. Panel 4 August is woken up by his to cats touching his face and meowing for food. He'd like to play his new game, but there's things that have to be done and he has to get to work. August: I'll play it after work... Eventually. Nougat: Maw (possibly meaning "Excuse me good sir, but I find myself in a most peckish state and it be pleasing if you could find it fit to fill my dining bowl with your most delicious of food morsels.
