Luckily we still get central heating as long as the outages aren’t too long (say, longer than an entire day or two!) but cooking food or just getting a working internet connection can be an issue! Especially the food thing since everyone has electric ovens and stoves these days

Yup! They’ve started doing it more recently after the colder months began and these last few missile attacks have hit our power grid pretty hard.
