When you *thought* you wrote the whole dungeon already… and the game’s in 25 minutes

Guess I’m winging the third level if they figure out how to get up there.

Tween D&D tonight featured a zombie T-Rex, an axe named Bob, and a whole lot of excited shouting.

Safe to say they had a good time—and they didn’t kill the NPC (per our previous meta-game bargain).

Thanks, @ttrpgkids.com for highlighting this game and your wonderful review again!
Lil Gremlins by @openstorygames.bsky.social is a journaling game made for little kids!

It's all about taking care of a wild little gremlin (that only your kid can see) and helps kids with perspective taking and introspection in a fun and creative way.

After a long, unexpected hiatus, I'm back to writing RPGs!

And this time I've got a new, ridiculous premise to keep me busy for a while. Can't wait to get a completed draft (though it might be a bit still)

Thank you for contributing to my crafting supplies!

My library doesn’t just have books and movies. It has study rooms, story times, and scavenger hunts for kids!

What surprises can you find at your library?

Try this game—and then rate it!

It's a great system for introducing littles to the wonderful world of roleplaying!
Could I ask a favour?

If you’ve bought a LITTLE BUT FIERCE book (and your publisher settings allow it), could you please go back and rate it?

And, if you have 5 mins, a one sentence review would be amazing as well.

Thank you :)
Oh yay, looks like a load of people have picked up Little but Fierce this month, so two more add-ons have new best seller medals!

If you've not checked out LBF, it's a complete rewrite of D&D 5E with:
⭐️Simplified language
⭐️Streamed rules
⭐️A more family-friendly tone

"Write every day" doesn't have to mean put words on the page every day, it means create space to write every day. Sitting in front of a blank page for an hour with no distractions is still writing. Do it every single day and soon enough and you'll start putting words on the page to ease the boredom.
If you're on a roll and feel tempted to stop because you think you need to look something up or write something transitional, put it in square brackets and keep going

Your momentum is more important than [actually do the streetlamps still run on gas at this point or is it electric yet?]
if u see this, quote-post with your tips for writers that no one gives anymore because they seem obvious (even though they're not)

I've been researching illithids lately for a campaign, and the number of interesting horrors that have come to mind for me to homebrew is possibly concerning...

My players are gonna love it!

Origins folks - I am leading a workshop that they labeled "Science game creation" but I don't really care what kind of game you want to make. Come go through the process I use to start a game, and make a shitty first draft! There are a few spots left. tabletop.events/conventions/...

Last night’s dungeon was a goofy carnival funhouse.

I went out on a limb and created a teleporting slide, suspecting that the tweens would stop using it after one of them succumbed to the effect.

Much to my surprise, all but one of the PCs tried the slide—as did the goats summoned by the druid!

Oh, piece of advice for players for any TTRPG out there with a dedicated GM;

The GM is a player in the game too. They should be having fun with you.

They aren't just there to tell you characters are hot, and how cool yours acts.

They are most likely your friend, and should be having fun too.

I've got about an hour to come up with a stat block for my swarm of rubber duckies.

My big idea so far? A barrage of quacking that deals damage.

The tweens are gonna love it! (I hope)
