for the sake of context because it's a TDOV thread, I don't have many Actually Trans OCs—the stories I write and the characters I write about wouldn't necessarily *have* to be cis, but... bluntly, I like not having to be tactful when I make up two imaginary people and then sic them on each other XD

A drawing of a skinny, long-haired man in a chair in a cluttered room, using a computer via several plugged-in peripherals. He has some sort of nailed-together boards thrown over his lap as a makeshift desk, which have a keyboard and mouse over them; then on the desk in front of him is a pulled-out panel for a keyboard to sit on, which is instead hosting a wacom screen tablet which has been set up as a monitor. Behind that is a laptop with a cracked glass screen and broken keyboard, and two speakers from the early 2000s. Scattered on the same desk, taking up a lot of space, are assorted pens, papers, pill bottles, wires, and sculpting tools; there are also cardboard boxes full of junk - some mechanical and some papers. There are post-it notes taped to the wall behind the desk, which also has some desk shelves which also have knicknacks in them. Next to the computer is a drawer full of knicknacks that has been pulled out to use as a drink holder, and there's an open bottle precariously stacked on it. Behind the man, on the side of the wall past the desk, is another set of shelves- this time floor to ceiling. these are absolutely packed with stuff, mostly knicknacks again. The most immediately visible has a disaster of papers scattered on top, with some boxes and some loose; there are small jars and bins of art supplies and cups full of pens, and what can be identified as a calculator if you look closely. There are mostly boxes in the narrow-height shelf below, and below that are things too hidden to make out. In between the side of the desk and those shelves is a xylophone. There's also a space heater in there. On the ground, there's a trash bag full of junk against the side of the desk closest to the viewer. Next to the space heater, behind the chair, is more junk, this time piles of paper and stuff on the floor. The character looks at at you quizzically, smoking a cigarette. The whole thing has an odd color palette, with intense red highlights and teal shadows. A six-panel comic titled 'metaphor', drawn digitally but with fake watercolors on a fake piece of graph paper. The comic centers on a character that I'll refer to as a deer, because it mostly is a deer. It has sharp teeth and eyes with red slit pupils and gold irises, though, and it has a coat pattern that is gold with jagged black markings on top. Its antlers vaguely resemble whitetail deer antlers. The first panel shows the deer standing relatively calmly, looking at block letters that spell out the word "run". In the next panel, the deer startles, making a stressed expression as its ears and tail go up. Text in this one, fading in from the background, repeats 'run' repeatedly; then at the bottom corner, in vivid red, is "Go!" The next panel is a close-up on the deer's eye, looking aside like it's not sure what to do. Text on this one, getting annoyed, reads: "you fucking fool." The next one shows the deer standing, still and alarmed, in a dark forest, all as black silhouettes. Text here, even more frustrated, reads: "What are you waiting for?" Finally, the deer responds. It is defensive and just as frustrated as the narration. It says: "It's a big world. I don't know where to go. I can't move forward yet. Let me think." The final panel shows the deer, still standing, still alarmed, and still still, in a view from behind. This time, we're looking through the scope of a rifle. Text here, resigned, reads: "well... you're out of time." A painting of Erica in two forms aligned as though they're two characters in the same image. Erica in her human form smirks slightly, making a picture frame with her fingers around one open eye. She has her other eye shut tightly. Behind her, her enormous fox form, a dark canine figure with a black top line, fluorescent orangey-pink fur on her cheeks and stomach, and white muzzle, licks its lips, ears perked up and whiskers forward in excitement. Her fox form is holding a knife, with a wicked curve, over her human shoulder. Erica is wearing masculine, old-fashioned clothing in her human form, and it's painted in a sparkly blue that matches the background. An OC - Shotgun, a gray-skinned robot woman with red glowing light panels along her body in stripes - leans against some sort of support in a modeling pose. She is wearing a very short cropped shirt with a skull and a heart on it, fashionable sweatpants, a long holographic silver jacket with a red inside, and red leather boots and a red leather belt with a chain.
