I think we should all pump the brakes on this. Marileidy Paulino and Salwa Eid Naser pushed Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone today in a way that Femke Bol has never done. They have past victories of Sydney. Let’s not pretend that Paulino and Naser will just “fade into Bolivian.”

What an effort by Madison Keys. Keys really earned her first major title by navigating one of the toughest draws I have ever seen. And keep in mind she won a warmup tournament too.

I also would not trade Wiggins for Butler straight up. And while Vucevic would be a vast improvement over TJD, the Warriors need someone besides Steph who can create offense. I agree that Butler is the wrong move, but Vucevic is not enough of a move to get the Warriors out of the doldrums.
