The consulting firm, the Ohio-based Strategy Group, has longstanding personal and business ties to Noem and her senior aides at DHS.

It played a central role in Noem’s 2022 reelection campaign.

And the company’s CEO is married to Noem’s chief spokesperson at DHS.

It's basic common sense. If the vehicle you're driving has giant blind spots near the vehicle, you should have special training and requirements on how to avoid hurting or killing people nearby.

My reaction basically falls into four categories:

Disgusted by the content and subject of what they're discussing.

Horrified by where these people are now.

Incredulous about what they're openly discussing via email.

Insulted by the fact that these people can't string a sentence together.

The fact that the federal employees are being used for explicitly partisan speech should be a major scandal. The fact that they are violating the anti deficiency act and through it, extending the shutdown should be a huge issue. But you'd never know it from news headlines these days.

It's driving me crazy how is the news not constantly itemizing how the administration is violating appropriations laws every single day. He was impeached of this in his first administration but now it's just ho-hum.

The news is totally unequipped to talk about this in a competent manner.

lying about the reason for the suspending benefits to try and bring leverage to end the shutdown or because they want people to begin starving and are willing to break the law to do so.
