A big step backwards.
The Trump administration has joined the war on HIV/AIDS, on the side of HIV/AIDS.
SCOOP: The Trump administration has instructed employees and grantees not to use U.S. funds to commemorate World AIDS Day — because the observance was started by the World Health Organization.

Even if the Senate voted to extend ACA subsidies, the GOP-controlled House is unlikely to allow a vote on them.

And there's of course no guarantee that Trump would even go along with a deal.

The cruel irony is that this will end up hurting Republican states the most.

From street marches to court battles to the ballot box - we’ve challenged the power of this exceptionally unpopular president.

The lesson from each success we've had is that we need to ramp the political pressure up, always up, not back down, now more than ever.

Federal agents drive off with a lone toddler of **U.S. citizens*** Return the child abused, bruised on the face and neglected. @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social is clear, this is just the beginning of this story. As he reports - this began during the first Trump administration.

EVERY SINGLE JOURNALIST SHOULD KEEP ASKING THIS ONE QUESTION.

OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"

Meanwhile, Congressional staffers went without pay today.

Every member should answer whether they took the paycheck while their staff got nothing.
