More recently she's been adding tons of little details like gorgons turning things to stone, harpies smelling horribly, etc.

She ended up working just 6 days on the project, but has had a huge impact in bringing more life into our little world.

I'll start with Renate Noel-Tagoe (@insertcat.bsky.social) our VFX artist.

I believe Mythmatch was Renate's first paid VFX work, but her talent was obvious in her portfolio. She started out making this building upgrade effect, which is a centerpiece in videos / trailers.

Might be a bit difficult to play, but might be worth it for the cuteness. Ha ha ha.

In Hephaestus's Forge, you can get a little Fire Fox Friend (or two) to help out with the crafting. Now at the right size even!

Got some lovely animations for this little guy from Hollie. Might have gotten the initial scale wrong, though.

I've been watching back playtest videos (thanks @popelady.bsky.social!) and I'm surprised by how much people use their mouse to play Mythmatch.

One little request from @sanjum2.bsky.social led me down the path from "enough mouse support to rebind your keys" to a pretty robust implementation.
