I think it's much better to be honest about why you dislike it, especially if it is an ARC. A 1 star for some is a 5 star for others

Though, I personally tried to focus on the "good parts" (no matter how small) when I give my "mid" reviews. Though that's usually very difficult 👀

Mine has learned to say "mama" and other quick toddler-like phrases and let me tell you it's wild to wake up at 4 am to "mama, food!" ("Mama, mat!")
