i guess my point is that thinking of men as people rather than a different species of human has helped me expect more from them instead of writing them off as a lost cause we all have to move on from. no prizes for being a better person, no judgement for genuinely trying to be better

Seriously this. The tv/film industry needs to wake up on Rhys Darby. Give him leading man-level roles. Yes he's hilarious as purely comedic characters, but give him a role with depth and complexity and comedy and drama and he fucking shines
