This seems like illegal black magic math, but as far as I can tell it's legal.
Fussing with the numbers to factor this expression by grouping to make it simpler was definitely one of my crazier ideas, but if it works it makes the math much easier.

as unfortunate as it is that Doom: The Dark Ages isn't as great as Eternal (according to majority opinion anyway), I love that the team at id at least left Doom Eternal in a good state with mod support, so there may continue to be content to play for those who prefer the gameplay of Eternal.
