Imagine making one of the best iterations of 3D mario physics then making the main point of your game to avoid using them with the transformations that are usually just press button to win.
tbh I haven't played it but it seems a lot like odyssey in the sense that the most fun I'll have playing it is trying to explicitly avoid the main mechanic (the transformations that remove all the fun platforming tricks I could normally do).
