Is there an exchange policy on bodies? The whole hypermobility thing sounded cool on paper but I've decided I'd like one that doesn't throw its shoulder out every time I play pickleball or something

A few months ago, Nature published how-to guide for using ChatGPT to write your peer reviews in 30 minutes.

This is, of course, a horrible idea. Here’s my response with @jbakcoleman.bsky.social .
AI, peer review and the human activity of science
When researchers cede their scientific judgement to machines, we lose something important.

The fan being *on* has not deterred these birds from trying to nest on it. Their solution? More nests.

Suggestions? 😂

I recently had a scientist I respect very much tell me that knowledge is outdated now that we have chatgpt. And while I disagree lol, I will give him one thing. Chatgpt is way more helpful for R code than any human person who has ever known R. 😂

This agrees with my personal notion that the reason I'm trans is because I never had a woman's self-preservation instinct 😂
The correct answer to someone asking the fatuous ontological question "What is a woman?" is always "Someone who keeps her drink covered when a genital obsessed creep like you is in the room."

Yes, that includes the Supreme Court.

Do you think they made high school kids representing the US in model UN this year skip out on participating in the model world health organization?

Who needs title IX protections anyway amiright?

(This is a joke)
1. In a devastating ruling, the traditionally progressive 9th Circuit Court has allowed Idaho's bathroom ban for trans students.

They rule that "common experience" is enough to assume trans students are a harm to cis ones.

The panel was majority Dem appointed.

9th Circuit Upholds Bathroom Ban, Says Trans Students Violate Cis People's Privacy
The ruling, the first of its kind, asserts that the rights of cisgender people to not have a transgender person in the same bathroom are more important than the equal protection of trans students.

If you need a little pick me up at the beginning of your commute, I highly recommend setting your phone's language to Dutch. Their word for "work" is "werk" and I think that's wonderful.

This article is really very good, and in my opinion, optimistic and encouraging... despite the dire tone & situation we find ourselves in.
