Seva was born before the war, but when you talk to him, it feels like he barely remembers what life was like without air-raid alerts. As if peace is something distant.

It changes them so deeply that we, adults, will probably spend years trying to understand all its consequences.

In every apartment building, there’s a shared router that can hold a charge for a few hours. Of course, it eventually dies too, but for some time it still works — and that’s how we can keep using Wi-Fi.

Yes, when the power is out, it works worse and sometimes barely catches a signal. But it still gives us at least some connection.

We use this little cable (I’m showing it in the photo) to connect the router to a power bank. 1/3
