Yesterday we decided to sculpt with air-dry clay that hardens and keeps its shape.
Seva made St. Nicholas, I made Santa Claus, and Solomiya was “helping” us from the side.
The figures turned out great — and so did the moment when Solomiya stuck a piece of clay in her hair😅

Before the Holodomor, the Soviet regime forcibly drove Ukrainians into collective farms, taking away their land, livestock, and harvest. People lost any possibility of having their own food and became completely dependent on the state.
