My wife and I have 45 years experience teaching in Title I (poor) schools. The experiences we’ve had with under nourished children is absolutely heartbreaking. Anyone claiming our leaders caved by deciding to feed children should be ashamed. No true Christian would feel that way.

I’ve had a belly full of ‘democrats caved’ bs. I really thought not letting children go hungry was a basic tenant of being a Dem or Christian, for that. I can’t believe people think starving children should be pawns in absolutely stupid political battles.
