Unpopular opinion but I don’t think you can truly get to know someone in just a year. I gotta see you how you react during trials and tribulations and sometimes you can’t see a persons true colors in 365 days so I’m gonna say 3-5 years max, 3 years to propose, 2 for the engagement.
