I have just finished reading Gunnawah by @ronnisalt.bsky.social and as a teenager living in the 1970s from a small town of almost a thousand, living on Wiradjuri land, the characters are authentic and the whole ethos of small-town Australia rings true. Highly recommend.

I see the Australian government has expelled the Iranian ambassador because of damaging a synagogue and potentially harming people. Now they should do the same with the Israeli ambassador whose country has been destroying buildings and actually killing thousands of people.
