Cotton candy is definitely a fun treat, but it’s mostly sugar with very little nutritional value. I wish there was a way to make this healthier. I also wonder how many gram of sugar in cotton candy? @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

Such a cute idea! Mini cornucopias make the table feel festive, and they’re the perfect mix of fun, creative, and delicious. Especially the fruit and ice will be a great sweet treat. Even though Thanksgiving has passed, it would still be nice to eat. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
Bring extra charm to your Thanksgiving table! Create mini cornucopias using ice cream cones and fill them with your favorite salad or fresh fruit topped with whipped cream or ice cream. A seasonal touch guests will love.

For this Thanksgiving, I was looking forward most was the Haitian beet salad in which was one of the food options. Haitian beet salad is a creamy mix of beets, potatoes, carrots, peas, and mayo blended into a sweet, tangy pink side dish. It is so delicious. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

We actually covered this long ago in lecture; saturated fat isn’t all bad, but too much can raise LDL cholesterol and inflammation. I like how it emphasizes moderation and practical choices like lean meats, low-fat dairy, and whole foods. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
Saturated fat isn’t the enemy—your body needs a little. But too much raises LDL cholesterol, inflammation, and disease risk. Aim for under 6–10% of calories. Choose whole foods, lean meats & low-fat dairy. Moderation matters. health.clevelandclinic.org/saturated-fa...

Tom Carroll’s story showed how damaging fat shaming was for him and how it pushed him further from improving his health. Finding a realistic routine he could stick to, even if it wasn’t a perfect diet. As a future provider, I hope to come with compassion and empathy. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353

This is a reminder of what genuine compassion looks like. Caring for others, especially those in need, isn’t just an act of kindness but it’a reflection of heart. It inspires me to be more intentional about serving others with empathy, humility, and open heart. @beh353.bsky.social #beh353
