social murder is real and happens every fucking day in the us. the concept of it needs to be widely circulated, addressed and cemented as the objective fact that it is. people die because of capitalism and policy. health insurance policy makers are bigger serial killers than any 1 dude with a knife.
This healthcare ceo is hard to talk about because how much death can you cause indirectly before you’re a murderer who got murdered? How do you convince yourself it doesn’t count if you kill people with policy instead of a gun? What do you have to believe about life and systems and human worthiness?

I'm a big baby and can't do horror in any form (anymore), but I find the stories fascinating and it is sad that adaptations seem so difficult.
In this case it may have mostly been corporate meddling, but I also think reading horror is just a more intense experience than watching it.
