My mother was molested by a Baptist deacon who offered to take her home after a church picnic. She managed to open the car door and jump out, tumbling down a ravine into a creek. She was 9.
Horrific. And those were just the ones who were caught.
There were 31 church leaders & christian school employees who were arrested, pled guilty and/or were sentenced to prison for child sex crimes in the month of June.
