📍 Montreal, Quebec
It feels so similar to Halifax: bsky.app/profile/ohth...
Victoria is Halifax mixed with Vancouver, but with more bikes.

One of the contexts in the video was that most people aren’t aware of Victoria as a cycling city, “outside of maybe the PNW”. So that couldn’t be replaced by “the island” or “lower mainland” without changing the meaning.

Understandable.

If you don’t feel affinity with the region that’s totally fine. But almost all of the definitions and maps of PNW do include BC.

Maybe not the biggest issue, but it annoys me that Trump-appointed USG officials all speak in his voice. It demeans the office they hold.

This is just the normal metro. I think the REM is currently a little worse than this for frequency, but will get to about this when all branches open

If anyone is involved in formal advocacy or campaigns to get sidewalks plowed in their city, I might like to interview you!

I don't know that their drop was bigger, but they have a baseline lower level of support.

I've wondered for a while. How much if it is anglos (in particular) living in less dense, more suburban neighbourhoods versus cultural differences beyond that. I don't have a conclusive answer.
