Now, to the most egregious change--D-7. I've zoomed & added context, because this is what's got a lot of Hoosiers taking notice. Marion County sits entirely within D-7 & includes most of Indy. It's also the most racially diverse district in the state.

The new map divides Marion into 4 districts.

Here's the whole '25 proposed map, as the first edit cut out the eastern slice & the southern tip. For more context on how weird & wild these districts are to residents (who don't want them), there are two time zones in IN (IN-CHI is CST; IN is EST) yet Districts 1 & 2 now cross both (& half of IN).

The new map (right) is bright & confusing, w/small district numbers, lots of lines & small county names, but it's provided by Rs, so the usual. Note: The left map (current) *only took effect in 2023*. It's 2yrs old
