oh my god. i hope you’re feeling better! imo back spasms are like if the experience of “lying awake at 2am while an unswattable mosquito buzzes in your ear every 90 fucking seconds” were transmuted into pure physical pain and then contained inside your body. literally evil.

y’know? not like “oh my god he got trump to be friendly to him he’s obviously a fascist plant” but maybe also not “oh my goodness look at our smart brilliant man who’s so suave and charming that he’s got one of the main nazis absolutely *beaming* at him! he must’ve got that nazi good!!!!”

like i see all sorts of people absolutely sure of what they think happened there but i just don’t know. what i do know is that it’s stupid and dangerous to like a politician so much that you won’t harbor any suspicion of them even when they’re smiling and shaking hands with a nazi.

it’s like getting your affairs in order and saying goodbye to the fam and pets every time you drive over a bridge or eat a can of tuna. seems fucking exhausting

like every time there’s a solar flare (often what with the sun being a big fuck-off burning thing) they’re all “ahhh oh shit oh fuck solar flare hide ya kids hide ya wife” and then absolutely nothing noticeable happens here but that does not stop them from making the same video next week?!

what would be *real cool* though is if getting a decent job wasn’t tied to having a college degree and people could just go to college because they wanted to learn and not because they sort of have to if they want a chance to live without poverty or body-destroying manual labor
