Our country will only continue to get worse until Citizens United is overturned. Corporations are not people, and as long as virtually unlimited funds are allowed to ebb and flow to political candidates, the people will not be properly represented.

The US President has ordered the creation of ”specialized” military units to “quell civil disturbances” in all 50 of our states.

Military units under his personal control.

Deployed across our homeland, in peacetime.

Little time is left to stop this insanity.

I hate it here. I don’t understand how Republicans voters don’t see through this.
The Republican budget bill includes new tax breaks to private equity firms who take over smaller businesses, load them with debt, close factories, and fire workers.

Yet another Wall Street giveaway by the "party of the working class."

BREAKING: Federal agents in plain clothes and unmarked cars tried to snatch 1st graders from LA elementary schools—told staff they had “parental consent.”

They lied. When pressed, they HID THEIR IDS. DHS admits they sent them. This wasn’t a welfare check. It was a test run for a police state.

If Musk has credible inside knowledge of any of the following, it could be politically or reputationally harmful:

I keep having people argue with me that ICE is “only following the law” and “doing their jobs” etc

Yall, this is turning into an authoritarian regime. I know mistakes happen, but these are CONSISTENTLY happening and it seems that no one is being held accountable. I’m terrified for our country.
The NYPD and ICE mistakenly arrested a Chilean woman who is a permanent resident in New York City and left her poor frightened 12 year old daughter on the street alone.

She was released approximately six hours later.

This is the fearful state of America.

It may be one of the most cynical cash grabs in publishing history. It’s also going to be one of the most lucrative betrayals of conventional journalistic practice ever. And it’s worse than you think.
